These terms explain how IT Man TAG handles consultations, service requests, paid appointments, remote support, on-site support, payment expectations, customer responsibilities, privacy, and acceptable use.
Free Consultations
Free consultations are for discussing the issue, confirming service fit, and identifying next steps. They do not include full troubleshooting, repair work, implementation, setup, or extended guidance.
If additional work is needed, IT Man TAG may recommend a paid appointment or project quote.
Services Offered
IT Man TAG offers technology and business consulting services for individuals and small businesses. Services may include:
- Remote IT support for consumers and businesses
- Website support for consumers and businesses
- Microsoft 365 support for consumers and businesses
- Mobile support for Android and iOS devices
- AI and business workflow consulting
- Business and partner support and technology guidance
Service availability and scope may vary. IT Man TAG does not guarantee that all services are available for every situation or request type.
Paid Appointments
- Paid remote or video appointments require payment confirmation before the scheduled session begins.
- Booking a paid service does not guarantee work will begin until payment and appointment details are confirmed.
- Emergency, same-day, or priority support may require payment before scheduling is confirmed.
- Website and project work may require a deposit or agreed initial payment before work begins.
Payment Policy
- Payments are handled through third-party providers such as PayPal, Cash App, Venmo, or Zelle by request.
- IT Man TAG does not collect or store card numbers, bank information, or payment credentials on this website.
- Customers should include their TAG # in payment notes when available.
- Free consultations do not require payment.
Refund Policy
Payments for completed or scheduled services are generally non-refundable.
- Missed appointments, late cancellations, completed consultations, diagnostic time, and time spent preparing for or working on a request are not refundable.
- If a service cannot be completed, any eligible unused amount may be applied as credit toward a future IT Man TAG service when appropriate.
- Future service credit is handled case-by-case and does not guarantee a cash refund.
- IT Man TAG reserves the right to determine whether future service credit is appropriate based on the circumstances.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Customers should request rescheduling as early as possible.
- Missed appointments or late cancellations may require a new booking or additional payment.
- IT Man TAG may reschedule due to availability, emergency, or technical constraints.
Remote Access and Account Security
- Remote access is used only with customer permission during an active support session.
- Customers should not share passwords through forms, text messages, or email.
- IT Man TAG does not request or store customer account passwords.
- If a password must be entered during a session, the customer should enter it directly.
- Customers are responsible for maintaining access to their own accounts and devices.
Customer Authorization
By requesting service, customers confirm they are authorized to request support for the device, account, website, business system, software, or service involved.
IT Man TAG may refuse requests involving unauthorized access, account misuse, fraud, illegal activity, or suspicious intent.
Customer Responsibility
- Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about the issue.
- Customers are responsible for maintaining their own account access, licenses, backups, files, and device ownership.
- IT Man TAG may assist with data backup, cloud backup, OneDrive, Google Drive, device backup, or file organization when appropriate — especially during on-site or planned support sessions.
- IT Man TAG is not responsible for pre-existing data loss, device failure, account lockouts, third-party platform outages, or problems caused by incorrect customer-provided information.
Data Privacy
- During support, IT Man TAG may view technical information necessary to troubleshoot the issue.
- Customers should close private windows, documents, photos, financial information, medical information, or unrelated sensitive materials before remote or on-site support begins.
- IT Man TAG will not intentionally access customer files, messages, photos, or private information unless needed for the requested support and approved by the customer.
- Customer information will not be shared with unrelated customers. Customers should not see another customer's data during support.
- IT Man TAG does not sell customer information.
- IT Man TAG does not intentionally collect unnecessary sensitive personal information.
- Customers should avoid submitting passwords, payment credentials, Social Security numbers, medical information, or unrelated confidential data through forms.
No Guaranteed Outcome
IT Man TAG will make reasonable efforts to help resolve issues. Not every technical issue, device issue, account issue, website issue, software issue, or third-party platform problem can be fixed.
Some problems may require manufacturer support, platform support, replacement hardware, paid licenses, vendor escalation, or additional services beyond the scope of an IT Man TAG session.
Acceptable Use
IT Man TAG may refuse or discontinue service for:
- Abusive language, harassment, or threats
- Fraud, illegal activity, or unauthorized access requests
- Malware abuse, spam, or hate speech
- Requests outside the intended scope of service
Customers are expected to communicate respectfully. Offensive or profane submissions may be blocked or ignored.
Contact and Booking
- Customers should begin by submitting a service request through the IT Man TAG website contact form.
- IT Man TAG will review the request and follow up by email to confirm service fit, scope, next steps, and whether the request is free consultation eligible or paid service work.
- Free consultations may be scheduled after the initial request is reviewed.
- Paid appointments require payment confirmation before the scheduled session.
- After payment confirmation, customers may receive or use the IT Man TAG booking page to schedule the appropriate appointment.
- Scheduling an appointment does not guarantee service completion or acceptance if the request is outside scope, unauthorized, abusive, fraudulent, or unsupported.
